Biz People: Immigration will 'hold down wages'

Allowing more immigrants to enter the United States would hold down wages for skilled workers, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan (below) said on Monday.
"We pay the highest skilled wages in the world. If we could open up... it would attract a very large quantity of people.
"It would supply the actual amount of people that we need," Greenspan told a meeting of the American Hospital Association.
