1. Climate
Guangzhou is a tropical city with a South Asian monsoon climate. The average temperature in April is between 20C and 30C. It is a month characterized by abundant rainfall and exhibitors are advised to take umbrellas.
2. Currency
China's currency is the renminbi (RMB), also known as yuan. Foreign currency can be exchanged for RMB in hotels and bank outlets. There are two banks at the Canton Fair:
Bank of China: Counter 5-6, Pearl River Promenade, Exhibition Hall 23
China Construction Bank: Counter 1, Pearl River Promenade, Exhibition Hall 22
3. Time zone
Guangzhou time is 8 hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time (+8 hours GMT).
4. Power supply
Standard voltage in China is 220V/50Hz.
5. IPR complaints and trade disputes
A booth has been set up for IPR complaints and trade disputes at the fair.
The booth will be open from April 15 to 20, from 9am to 6pm. It's located in the atrium on the first floor between halls 26 and 28.

6. Lost property
A lost property department is also available at the fair.
Exhibitors can register and claim their lost property including personal items like laptops and mobile phones and exhibition samples.
The lost property department is located in office 05, 1st floor, Hall 23, Pazhou Complex. It will be open from April 15 to 20 from 9am to 6pm.
