Yin and Yang of ageless love

Who's inAfter two years of a much-publicised marriage, an 85-year-old Nobel Prize winner and his 31-year-old wife have appeared in public again as a happy couple. Hong Kong newspaper Mingpao reported that American Chinese physicist, Chen Ning Yang, and his young wife, Weng Fan, attended the release of a celebrity talk-show tele-film The Sky of Music last week. The young wife wore a simple off-the-shoulder black dress, and a short "Bob" style hair cut, made popular in China in the 1960s when women were encouraged to rejoin the work force. Previously she had kept a low profile, but during this ceremony, showed off her piano playing skills and revealed she had been a student of the Hong Kong female pianist Sun Ying during her childhood.

Noble prize-winner Yang, and Weng were married in 2005. Since then, the life of this phenomenal partnership has been in the spotlight.

They became acquainted with each other in 1995, when Yang and his previous wife attended a meeting at Shantou University, Guangdong. Weng was in charge of the reception. She was then a postgraduate student at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

Yang's first wife died in 2003. Weng was also married before was soon divorced.

Duff's thin edge of the wedge

Who's inTeen starlet Hilary Duff claims she's never had a problem with her weight, but feels pressure to be thin. The 19-year-old actress and singer said that she's either perceived as too fat or too thin in the media, which she says can be "judgmental and mean".

"And if you don't like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you in magazines or just in everyday life they can be hurtful. ... But you'll never make them happy," she said.

Duff, who has sold more than 13 million albums worldwide, has a new album out today called Dignity. Several of the songs are about her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, but she denies that she slammed his new newest flame, Nicole Richie, in her tune Gypsy Woman.
