Moving from China to the global marketplace
As a leading domestic manufacturer of aluminium panels, China Haida Ltd has been involved in many major projects such as the Mao Memorial and the Capital Airport in Beijing.
China Haida's products offer modern, creative and practical design possibilities for various infrastructure and building applications.
With a focus on becoming an internationally renowned company, China Haida was listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange in November 2004 and the company today has a sales network covering more than 20 countries globally.
"Moving to Singapore has allowed our company to progress to a more modernized management model, which will help advance the group as a whole. We see this move to Singapore as an upgrade in our operations to become a more international company," says Executive Director Guo Yun about a recent corporate restructuring.
In line with the group's plan to streamline operations and intensify global marketing, the group changed its name from Comat Industrial Ltd to China Haida Ltd in October 2006, which has allowed the Haida brand to be easily identifiable with the listed company.
With a strong presence in China, a growing international reputation, an improved brand and focused managerial strategy, China Haida is now looking to promote the "Haida" brand with a renewed intensity.
In late 2006, China Haida was recognized for its continued success as it was awarded two highly prestigious national awards. Jiangyin Litai Decorative Materials Co Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Haida, received the "China Top Brands" certification for its products as well as the prestigious Certificate for Product Exemption From Quality Inspection by the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China.
"We welcome international clients to China and look forward to working with them and helping them understand the Chinese business environment," says Guo. "We expect to show international businesses everything that the Chinese market has to offer while working more closely with clients within the international market."
