TIELING - Former Qiangdao Hailifeng Club president Du Yunqi was given seven years in jail by the Intermediate People's Court of Tieling in Liaoning Province on Saturday morning.
Du was among the 39 people whose trial verdicts will be read out Saturday by the northeast Chinese court.
Nine people, including four top referees, had been sentenced to up to seven years in jail for bribery and match-fixing by the Intermediate People's Court of Dandong in Liaoning on Thursday.
