CHANGSHA - Rescuers have recovered the bodies of nine people from a shipwreck and are still searching for another two missing in Central China's Hunan province, local officials said Monday.
Seventeen people fell off of a boat last Tuesday when the ship they were on capsized amid high winds on a tributary of the Dongting Lake, China's second-largest freshwater lake.
Six of the rescued have returned home following treatment at a local hospital, local officials said.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
