A fire at a bridal photo studio killed three people and injured nine others on Sunday in the city of Shouguang in East China's Shandong province, local authorities said.

The fire broke out at 2 pm and was put out within two hours, a municipal government official said.

All three of the dead perished after being taken to a local hospital, while the injured are still receiving medical treatment.
