The New Moon star, who hosted the late night comedy sketch show this weekend, used his opening monologue to behead a West mannequin for interrupting his "close" friend, Us Weekly reports.

The 17-year-old, who presented the country singer with the best female video at the MTV Music Awards, reenacted the infamous moment and stepped in as Swift's hero.

Lautner said: "What I really wanted to do was this."

Before beheading West, the actor wielded a sword and showed off karate kicks.
