Eat my garbage

Dozens of residents in Beijigng's Dongsi community are keeping boxes of earthworms at their homes. For what? To eat their kitchen garbage.

This is a pilot project organized by the Global Village of Beijing, an environmental, non-government organization. Beginning November 2009, the GVB has sought help from experts at China Agricultural University and done some small-scale experiments and training with Dongsi residents.
