On Nov 24, the Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Chen Lin, will perform at New York's Carnegie Hall.

This will be the orchestra's second performance at Carnegie Hall following their debut at the venue in 2019.

Just over three years on, the upcoming concert is dedicated to music by a group of composers from the Central Conservatory of Music, including Ye Xiaogang's The Faint Ginkgo, Jia Guoping's Eternal River for Guzheng, Harp and Orchestra, Qin Wenchen's Bamboo Flute Concerto Cang Shan Xu, and Tang Jianping's The Stone in Five Colors.

The pieces combine traditional Chinese instruments with a symphony orchestra setting, and Chinese musical elements with Western techniques of composition.
