The National Art Museum of China in Beijing will provide lectures and tours of its collections at the China University of Petroleum, Beijing, to enrich young people's knowledge of art by not even leaving the campus, according to a cooperation agreement signed recently between the museum and the university.

The art museum will become a base of art education for China University of Petroleum students. Besides a rich education program on campus, the museum also will work with the university to encourage students to participate as museum volunteers.

It's hoped the cooperation will set an example for increasing cooperation between art museums and universities in integrating art into the campus curriculum.
