POWERCHINA and the Wroclaw Water Affairs Bureau in Poland signed contracts on April 16 for the construction by POWERCHINA of two reservoirs.

The two reservoirs, about 12 kilometers apart, are located in Klodzko, a town in southwestern Poland in the region of Lower Silesia.

The construction work includes construction of the dam, channel improvement, construction of spillways, and related tasks.

The project is part of the flood control works of Wroclaw. Its completion will bring about great improvements in the flood control and water storage capacity of the Wroclaw region.

The project is the third agreement that POWERCHINA has signed with Poland. The signing of the contract signifies that as POWERCHINA takes one step forward in its internationalization efforts it lays the foundation for further expansion in the EU market.
