马来官方公布两名持假护照登机者照片
马来西亚方面11日15时召开记者会，宣布已确认一名持假护照登机者身份，为伊朗人Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdad，但警方表示此人无恐怖主义背景，也和恐怖主义机构无关。

当地时间2014年3月11日，法国里昂，国际刑警组织秘书长雷纳德·诺布尔接受媒体采访，称两名持假护照的伊朗男子应该只是普通偷渡犯，与恐怖主义的关联性不大。
