The operator of the tower, Tobu Railway Co expects about 200, 000 visitors to Tokyo Skytree Town on the first day alone and 32 million visitors in the first year.

To ensure the guests get best experience, the operator limited the number of visitors. People need to make reservations ahead of July 10.

Tokyo Sky Tree is a broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower located in Sumida, north part of Tokyo, replacing the role of the 333-meter Tokyo Tower, built in 1958 in central Tokyo.

The capital's new tourist attraction was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the tallest tower in the world last November, surpassing the 600-meter Canton Tower in Guangzhou.
