Aussie air safety regulator clears Qantas to fly

CANBERRA - Australia's air safety regulator CASA has cleared Qantas Airways to resume flying after a weekend grounding of its entire fleet by management due to industrial unrest, a Civil Aviation Safety Authority spokesman said.

"Permission was given for aircraft to go back into the air at 3.30 pm (0430 GMT)," the spokesman said.
