The Interfax-Ukraine news agency said that Tymoshenko's lawyer Yuriy Sukhov has dismissed all charges against his client and asked the court to grant a bail to Tymoshenko, who currently is the opposition leader.

Sukhov said that a lot of respectable Ukrainians, including the authorities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, are ready to bail her.

Tymoshenko was arrested on Friday due to disruption of court procedure.

The Ukrainian prosecution accused Tymoshenko of abusing her power by signing a natural gas contract with Russia in 2009. She was charged with causing a loss of $190 million to Ukraine.
