The range sold at the many stalls here is staggering, and it is all fresh and tasty. You can find food from all parts of the country, and a huge selection of Thai fruits and sweets.

Chicken rice, tom yum kung soup, seafood, and durian rice are all must haves, but what impressed me most were Khao soi, a spicy and sour noodle broth that was simply delicious. The noodles on top are first deep-fried, which gives them their golden look, and they have a savory taste.

After lunch, and once you have got your energy back, you can have a look at shops owned by celebrated Thailand designers, also in Central Embassy.

On the second floor you can find the dress store Sretsis and the jewelry store Matina Amanita, both founded by two sisters, Pim and Matina Sukhahuta. Sretsis is the word sisters spelled backwards, and a third sister, Kly, the eldest, is in charge of the marketing.
