Southeast Asia geology photograph exhibit in Kunming

The city of Kunming, in Yunnan province opened an exhibition with 42 photographs from Yin Xiaojun, of a range of geological formations from nine southeast Asian countries, on Dec 3.

Yin uses a panoramic shooting method to record landscapes of China's "Belt and Road" neighbors, including Laos, Myanmar, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal, with the biggest panoramic composition consisting of 1,500 single photos. Also on exhibit are 10 old photos of Kunming during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The purpose of the exhibition is to support cultural exchanges with South and Southeast Asia. It will be open to the public free of charge through Dec 20. To reserve a ticket for the exhibition phone: 0871—6431-0000.
