Located at the base of the Oriental Pearl Tower in Lujiazui of Pudong New District, the Shanghai History and Development Exhibition Hall is an exhibition room of the Shanghai History Museum.

Shanghai History and Development Exhibition Hall

The museum, covering an area of over 6,000 square meters, is dedicated to the century-long history of the city of Shanghai. Visitors can enjoy a tour of Shanghai's past via a bunch of waxwork figures and historical relics. Having equipped with modern technologies such as videos and simulation, the museum also presents a vivid picture of the old Shanghai city which covers six sections including former concessions and old footsteps in Shanghai.

Admission Fee: 35 yuan ($5.5) per person
