Located on Boyuan Road in Jiading district, Shanghai Auto Museum has become a popular attraction for children and their parents during this summer holiday period.

According to Yang Xi, manager of the museum's communications and promotion department, Shanghai Auto Museum has received about 600 visitors on weekdays and 2,000 visitors on the weekend during this time.

In addition to exhibitions, the museum has held various events during the summer holiday period to attract young visitors, such as the Theme Exhibition of Chinese Leather Culture and Art, as well as academic activities.

"We intended to increase children's knowledge of auto vehicles by visiting the museum," said a visitor surnamed Yu.

A 6th-grade student Kang Juan came to visit the museum with his father for the first time and he said that he was impressed to see such "amazing cars" in the museum.

The museum is divided into four sectors, which are history, collection, exploration, and temporary exhibitions, covering an exhibition area of approximately 10,000 square meters.

Officially opened to the public in January 2007, the museum has a collection of more than 100 cars spanning 100 years of automobile history.
