Toothed burclover
Bright green toothed burclover has been a favorite of Jiading residents for generations. It is often sautéed with liquor.
Locals consume the green using a wide variety of recipes, including fried toothed burclover pancakes, which feature glutinous flour skin along with the green. The flavor of this veggie is also brought out by braising it with pork in brown sauce or putting it in a soup with fish and shellfish.
