Jiading to stage 4 wonderful shows

Residents in Jiading district will be able to enjoy four wonderful shows during the 12th China Art Festival, which will run from May 20 to June 2 in Shanghai.

The 12th China Art Festival will feature 51 productions, all from China, performed a total of 102 times. These shows will be staged in 19 theaters in 16 districts in Shanghai and include operas, dramas, concerts, dances and acrobatics.

A total of four shows will be staged in Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre, including ballet dance drama Dun Huang, opera Ying Xiong, dance drama Tian Lu and Cao Yuan Ying Xiong Xiao Jie Mei.

The ballet dance drama Dun Huang will be performed by the National Ballet of China. The dancers' beautiful and soft posture and movements show the beauty of Dunhuang, which is best known for its nearby Mogao Grottoes, and as the home of the Crescent Lake and Singing-sand Mountain. It will be staged on May 15.
