The 230,000 volunteers in Jiading district, Shanghai, are now eligible to receive the first Shanghai Volunteer Incentive Cards and enjoy preferential treatment.
The card, also called the Shanghai Volunteer Commonweal Card, was jointly released by the Shanghai Volunteers Foundation, the Shanghai Volunteer Association, and the China Construction Bank Shanghai Branch. The cards are available to all the registered volunteers in Shanghai, national moral models and candidates, and national outstanding volunteers. With the cards, they can enjoy nine kinds of preferential treatments, such as identity authentication, service time checks and exchange, financial management, and charitable donations.
Volunteers in Jiading can apply for the cards at the district's 12 community voluntary service centers and 15 outlets of China Construction Bank. Subdistrict offices and urban neighborhood committees will further cooperate to promote the release of the cards.
