Models honored in Jiading for International Labor Day

Jiading district of Shanghai hosted an award ceremony on April 27 to honor its model companies, industrial zones, and entrepreneurs, in celebration of the upcoming International Labor Day, which falls on May 1.

A total of 141 enterprises, 11 industrial zones, and 17 entrepreneurs were rewarded for their excellence in labor relations.

Ma Chunlei, Party chief of Jiading, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, greeting local workers and encouraging them to play their role in promoting the development of the district.

Ma also called on local labor unions to care about the workers' daily life and to create a better living environment for them, which are considered conducive to improving their work performances.

In addition, a worker's innovation pavilion was announced to be set up in the district, displaying local workers' innovative achievements in all aspects.

Also, art performances, featuring dancing, orchestras, recital, and singing, were put on at the ceremony to create a festive atmosphere.
