The People's Court of Xinye county in the city of Nanyang, Henan province, says that it is providing education activities on the law for local students who seem to have taken to the idea which is meant to improve the awareness of local teenagers.
The court has even built a juvenile legal education center in Henan for better services and to help prevent crime, with the focus on socialist values, and conveying basic knowledge of the law in relation to the country, society and the individual.
There are important articles, historical photos, publicity boards, and video clips on specific legal cases available in the center to help provide positive guidance for teenagers and the court says it has set aside special days for local students and encourages them to visit regularly.
Local officials say that this improvement in education about the law has provided a better juvenile environment and has encouraged students to be more law-abiding and aware of maintaining their own rights.
