Chinese rose exhibition to add luster to Nanyang

The city of Nanyang in Henan province will organize a Chinese rose exhibition from April 28 to May 3, with the aim of advancing the industrial development of the Chinese rose and promote trade cooperation.

Nanyang has the enviable title of "The hometown of the Chinese rose", endowed by the State Forestry Administration and the China Flower Association. The city has become the largest Chinese rose seedling breeding production base nationwide. Its supply of the flower occupies 80 percent of the domestic market and more than 70 percent of gross export volume.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Chinese Rose Branch of the China Flower Association and Henan Provincial Flower Association, and organized by Nanyang Municipal Flower Association and Nanyang Chinese Rose Base. It is also supported by several government departments and local district governments.
