Q5: We pay attention to the big data industry in Guizhou and know that Guizhou is known as "China's Data Valley." When we talk about big data, we must talk about Guizhou. How does Guizhou promote the innovation and development of the big data industry? Thank you.
Sun: Thank you for your question. Guizhou has held the Big Data International Expo for five years and we will continue to implement a big data strategy, acclerating the change from old economic growth drivers to new ones, as well as facilitating industrial upgrading and transformation.
First, while nurturing and supporting current enterprises to a greater extent, we will further strengthen the attraction of more big data enterprises, more high-tech enterprises integrated with big data, as well as more talents specializing in big data and high technology. At present, many IT giants opened their data bases in Guizhou, including China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Tencent, and Apple. In 2018, we attracted 12 famous big data companies including iFLYTEK and more than 200 enterprises with good growth potential. Guizhou's digital economic growth has ranked first in China for four consecutive years.
Second, we have made every effort to promote big data integration. We have accelerated the pace of big data and real economy integration, requiring all enterprises to explore development by integrating big data. In 2018, 1,625 enterprises have achieved development through the integration of big data and real economy. More than 10,000 enterprises have been connected to the cloud. The industrial internet platform, which was co-founded with China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp, was listed among the innovative projects by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2018. Now the platform works well in Guizhou and is generating economic and social benefits.
Third, focusing on the application of big data, Guizhou has built online platforms for government services. Guizhou promotes the application of big data in poverty alleviation, education, long-range medical treatment, and public security. Guizhou has taken the lead in realizing long-range medical treatment in provincial hospitals, municipal hospitals, county hospitals, and township health centers. Treatment is available at low prices and incorporated into basic medical insurance, which effectively alleviates the difficulty of seeing a doctor for residents.
Fourth, Guizhou works hard on the Big Data Expo, which has been successfully held for five sessions. It has become an international event and a world-class platform, representing the latest developments of the big data industry. By holding high-end forums, authoritative releases of leading scientific and technological achievements, as well as AI innovation competitions, each Expo attracts global industry elites, multinational corporations, and innovative enterprises to participate in it. The development of big data in Guizhou and the successful holding of the Big Data Expo promote and complement each other. I welcome everyone to participate in the Big Data Expo in 2020. Thank you.
