Pingchuan district in Baiyin city in Gansu province held the 2016 juvenile table tennis tournament and the Gansu juvenile table tennis qualification trials from April 30 to May 2.

The tournament attracted 87 contestants, 20 coaches and 20 referees.

The competition was divided into two groups. Group A included seven individual competitions such as men and women groups and single competitions, and group B consisted of five individual events.
