Eagles sell signed guitars for charity
The Eagles

Rock veterans the Eagles have teamed up with U.S. stores Wal-Mart and Sam's Club to raise money for charity by selling a limited number of autographed guitars.

Band members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt have signed the Takamine guitars, which will retail online at SamsClub.com for GBP1,250 each.

All money raised will benefit non-profit organisation The Walden Woods Project, which preserves the land, literature and legacy of author/philosopher Henry David Thoreau.

The Eagles' recent U.S. number one album Long Road Out Of Eden was only available to buy in Wal-Mart and Sam's Club shops.
