THAI THAI

I think everyone who has tried Thai food has eaten pad thai noodles, so again to test the heart of the restaurant I went with this classic sweet, eggy, shrimpy, spicy dish and was very, very happy. The dish was not heavy at all, actually very light and flavorful.

Following along side was a beautiful beef and eggplant curry that was a perfectly spiced. For a simple desert I highly recommend the mango pudding – a very light and sweet dish. All of the dishes were light which was amazing for as much food as I ate, something that makes Thai Thai a good start to the evening as well.

Thai Thai Restaurant does an excellent job of providing a classy and elegant dining experience for a very reasonable price, around 500RMB for a party of four, aside from cocktails. The foods, the service, the décor - all are melded together into a wonderful night out. I can’t wait to sample the owner’s newest vision, a Japanese restaurant, right next door. If it is half as good as Thai Thai I may have to move in.
