![]() Away from the hustle and noise of the more well know restaurant rows of the city lies Thai Thai Restaurant delightfully resting among trees and opens spaces of the Lido area. The modern and sleek design of the building mixed with heavy accents of natural materials is inviting and immediately takes you into a new relaxing world. The jasmine scents wafting through the air mix with the delicious curries and spices wafting out of the kitchen. You hostess greets you with a proper wai and you are seated and ready to enjoy a peaceful, tasty and lovely dining experience. Thai food is fast becoming, if not already, one of the most popular Asian styles of food that Westerners and Chinese flock to. Pungent spices, robust curries, delicate sweetness, fresh ingredients – these all make up Thai cooking and are artfully displayed at Thai Thai. A beautiful restaurant that is equally elegant and instantly relaxing without being pretentious; here is perfect locale for an intimate dinner, business lunch (the set menu is very nice) or a large dinner party. For the later don’t succumb to the traditional Tiger Beer, although it is on tap and always a winner, go for selections from the wine list or the very well thought out cocktail menu. |
