President Xi leaves for home after foreign trip

BISHKEK - Chinese President Xi Jinping left here for home on Friday after attending the 13th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Before the SCO meeting, Xi paid a state visit to Kyrgyzstan, during which the two sides agreed to lift the bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership.

Earlier in the overseas tour, Xi paid state visits to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and attended a Group of 20 summit in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.

Sept 13: Attend the 13th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
