Xi leaves St Petersburg for Kazakhstan visit

ST PETERSBURG - Chinese President Xi Jinping left St Petersburg of Russia Friday afternoon for Kazakhstan after attending the eighth summit of the Group of 20 (G20).

Xi is also scheduled to pay state visits to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan after his Kazakhstan trip. Before the G20 summit, he visited Turkmenistan.

The Chinese president will also attend the 13th meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kyrgyzstan.
