11. Reminisce at 1931. Situated on Maoming Nanlu bar street, 1931 is trying its best to preserve several brilliant threads of old Shanghai.. The bar is decorated in old Shanghai style, complete with old telephones, gramophones and 1930's star posters hanging on the walls. (Location: No. 112, Maoming Nanlu)

12. Have a brew in Paulaner. Paulaner restaurant, reconstructed from the house of Bai Chongxi, a civil-war period Kuomingtang official , is Shanghai's most famous German restaurant/bar. German-style black beer brewed on location is beyond compare. Paulaner's wooden furniture and stained glass windows come from the old churches of Bayern. 13. Go dancing at Pujin. Located in the Qun Building of Jinmao Tower, Pujin Recreation Center is the newest and hottest nightclub downtown. 15. Enjoy the cool at Park 97. The frontline of Shanghai's nightlife, Park 97 is located inside Fuxing Park, and enjoys the luxury of seclusion in a city known for its lights and noise.
