Foreign vloggers experience Jin Opera in Shanxi
Foreign vloggers and journalists from Chinese and foreign media watched a performance by Jin Opera artist Wu Lingyun in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, popularly known as the hometown of Guan Gong, on Tuesday.
On stage, Wu brought Guan Gong's spirit of loyalty and righteousness to life through a vivid Jin Opera performance. During the event, Wu also taught young performers the postures and movements of traditional opera. Foreign content creators, visibly delighted, stepped onto the stage to try their hand, experiencing firsthand the unique charm of traditional Chinese opera.
The visit was part of the "Loyalty and Honor Without Borders" campaign, a global online outreach on Guan Gong culture, jointly hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Shanxi province, China Daily Website, and the Yuncheng municipal government.
