PBOC allocates 5b yuan for disaster relief in Xizang

China's central bank has allocated an additional 5 billion yuan ($744 million) in relending funds to support disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction in Shigatse, Xizang autonomous region.

The People's Bank of China said on Thursday the additional relending quota for agriculture and small businesses would encourage financial institutions to increase credit support for businesses in the affected areas.
