Five confirmed dead after flash flood sweeps vehicle off bridge in Inner Mongolia

Five people have died after a vehicle was swept away by a flash flood in Xinghe county of Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, local authorities said on Wednesday.
The last person who had been reported missing was found on Wednesday with no signs of life, bringing the death toll from the incident to five.
The incident occurred at around 3 pm on Tuesday in Baojiaying village, when a flash flood swept a vehicle off a bridge and into the water. Four people had previously been confirmed dead, and one was reported missing.
Local authorities have begun follow-up work, while the detailed cause of the incident remains under investigation.
