Freshmen arrive at Peking University with dreams ahead of them

Peking University welcomed its 2026 undergraduate freshmen early this week. Though many had visited before, holding their official campus ID cards for the first time brought fresh excitement.

Surrounded by top peers and faculty of the country, these freshmen look forward to a diverse college life — from track and field to band performances, from badminton to basketball. For them, the university offers a broader stage to discover their true path and grow into well-rounded individuals.
