Celebrations mark 25th anniversary of successful Olympic bid

This year's edition features more than 20 events, including the Run Girls women's race and the junior triathlon, aimed at broadening the capital's sports culture landscape and encouraging public fitness.

The festival also serves as a platform to strengthen Beijing's role as an international Olympic hub, with the Olympic Center area being further developed to enhance its diplomatic and cultural functions.
