Beijing Daxing Airport's international traffic passes 13 million in past three years
Passenger traffic at Beijing Daxing International Airport has topped 13 million since its international flights resumed in January 2023, according to the airport's border inspection authorities.
In 2025 alone, annual inbound and outbound passenger numbers exceeded 5.8 million, the Beijing Daxing Airport Immigration Inspection Station said, as cited by the Daxing district media center.
Passenger flows have grown rapidly over the past three years since its recovery of international services, driven by service upgrades, enhanced operational capacity, and supportive policies like the visa-free exemptions.
The key aviation hub supporting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has continually expanded its international route network. It is now connected with nearly 50 cities worldwide, forming air links across Asia, Europe, and Africa, it said.
With the Spring Festival travel rush approaching, the airport is preparing for another surge in cross-border travel by offering more efficient and streamlined clearance services, it added.
