Qionghai's fire and rescue department responded to multiple emergencies on Tuesday. At noon, rescuers reached 25 trapped people near Wenqu Bridge in Wanquan town, where water depths reached around 4 meters. The group included students and elderly residents. Rescue personnel provided life jackets and transported all individuals to safety via rubber boats.

Local police closed several flooded roads on Tuesday and advised drivers to seek alternate routes. In Huishan town, landslides and fallen trees blocked roads in villages. More than 40 local officials and residents cleared the debris to restore traffic.
