International knives and scissors fair kicks off in Yangjiang

Organizers of the China (Yangjiang) International Hardware Knives and Scissors Fair are expecting the annual event to become a vivid illustration of China's manufacturing industry navigating challenges and moving forward — further propelling the Yangjiang knife and scissors industry toward the higher end of the global value chain.
The 24th edition of the fair, the country's largest knife and scissors trade event, opened in the coastal city on the western part of Guangdong province on Tuesday, with the goal to build a platform to further advance global exchange and cooperation in the industry.
Officials, senior leaders of industry and chambers of commerce, consuls of six countries including Cuba, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand in Guangzhou, attended the opening ceremony, amid high expectation of expanding cooperation and increasing market shares.
