International knives and scissors fair kicks off in Yangjiang

The organizing committee signed framework agreements to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Guangdong Chambers of Commerce in four countries — the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, New Zealand and Kyrgyzstan — opening new channels for Yangjiang's knife and scissors industry to integrate into the nations involved in the country's "Belt and Road Initiative" and further explore emerging markets. Buyers come from more than 30 countries and regions, with over 100 overseas professional buyers attending the three-day event.
Ten major international platforms, including Russia's largest cross-border e-commerce platform, Wildberries, France's Cdiscount, Africa's Jumia, and Amazon from the United States, set up their on-site booths to provide full-chain services ranging from product selection, logistics, and branding — aiding Yangjiang's knife and scissors industry to accelerate its global expansion through digital channels.
China's major knife and scissors makers, including Zhangxiaoquan, Wangmazi and Shibazi, all set up booths at the fair — which covers about 20,000 square meters — to heighten brand awareness and seek new domestic and foreign partnerships.
