Guizhou's Huanggang village named on UN Best Tourism Village list

Huanggang village is recognized for its ongoing practice of ancestral worship, traditional festivals, and farming customs, its fine timber architecture, and its well-developed model of sustainable tourism. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Local authorities said they have set up intangible-heritage experience workshops for Dong embroidery and silverwork, preserved traditional architectural forms while adding comfortable, eco-friendly guesthouses, and built agricultural study bases that offer farming experiences.
