Agricultural High-tech Fair in Shaanxi to showcase innovations

The 32nd China Yangling Agricultural High-tech Fair will be held from Oct 25 to 29 in the Yangling Demonstration Zone, Shaanxi province, to showcase agricultural innovations and foster international cooperation, organizers announced on Thursday in Beijing.
The five-day fair will spotlight innovation-driven development, food security, rural vitalization, and international agricultural exchange. It will combine online and offline exhibitions across four sections: indoor, field, cloud, and international.
The indoor exhibition will highlight high-tech agricultural achievements, international cooperation, and smart agricultural machinery.
The field exhibition will focus on the modern seed industry, land protection, water-saving agriculture, and smart agriculture, with 11 display points and 12 demonstration sites.
Digital integration will be a key component, with a cloud exhibition leveraging AI, VR, and AR technologies to connect global participants. This will provide a platform for online exhibitions, matchmaking, and transactions.
An international exhibition in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, will promote Chinese agricultural technology and products.
More than 1,800 enterprises from 41 countries will join, including members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as participants from Africa, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Domestic participants include government departments, industry associations, and enterprises from across China.
The SCO Agricultural Expo will be held alongside the fair.
Activities during the fair include forums, results releases, trade matchmaking, and competitions. Highlights include the SCO Modern Agriculture Development Roundtable, the 2025 International Apple Industry Technology Innovation Conference, and the National Modern Agriculture Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
The fair, launched in 1994, has drawn more than 30,000 agriculture-related enterprises and institutions from 34 provincial regions and over 70 countries, attracting around 35 million visitors and participants.
