Speakers at think tank event stress global cooperation

Tong Lihua, director of the Beijing Children's Legal Aid and Research Center, highlighted China's progress in child protection laws. However, he pointed out new challenges arising from the digital economy and AI technology.
Tong called for international cooperation and concrete policy implementations to address these issues.
The event was attended by ambassadors from nine countries, including Barbados, Japan and Kenya, as well as senior diplomats from countries like Croatia, Egypt and Estonia. Representatives from domestic and international companies and organizations also participated, according to a CCG release on Tuesday.
