Delivery driver earns praise for intervening to protect teenager

In a heartening twist, a matching bone marrow donor was found for their younger son through the donor registry, leading to the boy's successful transplant in 2023. Over the past two years, his condition has steadily improved, and his most recent examination showed that all key indicators were essentially normal.

"Beijing is a loving and warm city," Meng said. "I've gotten so much help from good-hearted people here, so I also want to help others within my capabilities."
