A standout moment came during the Duoluohe performance, when 1,000 women from the Yi and other local ethnic groups, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, descended a hillside in unison. Holding golden oil-paper umbrellas and embroidered handkerchiefs, they moved gracefully in a clockwise circle, creating a visually stunning spectacle.
The festival also included traditional circle dances, a grand fire ritual, and some contests such as wrestling, sheep fighting, and cockfighting, according to event organizers.
