Unlike the first session, which emphasized cultural heritage and historical sites in Beijing and Xi'an, the second session focuses on modern China and its technological development. It includes three key components tailored for European participants: courses explaining the cultural essence of China and the logic behind reform and opening-up; cultural visits to Beijing and Hangzhou to trace the pulse of Chinese civilization; and trips to enterprises, universities and research institutions that showcase "new quality productive forces" and the global engagement of Chinese youth, Zhao said.

In addition to touring iconic landmarks such as the Forbidden City and Great Wall in Beijing and West Lake and the Grand Canal in Hangzhou, students will visit leading companies and institutions. The itinerary includes stops at NIO, a smart electric vehicle company, as well as Zhejiang Lab and Westlake University—places Zhao described as demonstrating "China's dynamic fusion of tradition and modernity."

Many participants say they are eager to go beyond classroom learning to experience Chinese society and innovation firsthand.
