Annual science gathering set for Beijing next month

The China Association for Science and Technology will host its annual meeting in Beijing next month, bringing together experts and scholars to discuss cutting-edge and trending scientific topics, the association announced on Wednesday.

With the theme "Tracing Technological Frontiers and Boosting Innovative Development," the monthlong event will feature one main forum, 98 specialized forums and four parallel forums.

The forums will cover 10 key areas: basic science of mathematics, physics and chemistry; life and health; earth science; ecology and environment; manufacturing technology; information technology; advanced materials; resources and energy; agricultural technology; and aerospace technology.
